This week I’m doing a bit of airbrush work and a look at the completed concrete work.
That’s right the lights are finally on! I installed the station and put the power to it. I’ve waited a long time for this! Take a look!
Lets look at how the station lights will get wired to power under the layout.
Let’s take a break from the train station for this week and take a look at the platform roofs and lighting.
We took care of lighting the lower level of the train station last week. Now it’s time to light the main building. I’ll show you how I made hanging light fixtures with standard LED bulbs.
Now that the lower level interior has been built it’s time to add the lighting. This is how I use strip LEDs to do the job.
This is part 1 of a new series of videos on how the interiors and lighting will get done in my Union Station project. I thought it might be easier to break this project into smaller parts rather than 1 large series.
Here is part 12 in this series. I said last week was going to be the last in the series but I made a couple changes that I felt it was worth just 1 more quick video.
Now it’s time to light the roundhouse. I’m trying out something new for me to run some of the wire inside the roundhouse. This will be the last in this series. Now it’s back to the layout!
Let’s Talk about lighting! In this video I’ll start installing the led lights into the machine shop side of the building as well as look at ways to dim the lights to an acceptable level.
